Dyslexia is an advantage.
"I never consider myself a traditional choreographer because I'm not a dancer. I'm pretty much the most dyslexic and inflexible choreographer you'll ever meet." Dyslexic Choreographer Jacques Heim
In another life I'd be an architect... - Jacques Heim Jacques Heim is perhaps best known for his choreography of Cirque d' Soleil's visual story Ka', but check out this link too to watch his Diavolo dance troupe in action: http:www.youtube.comwatch?v=ikXvKJKmBM4 Jacques fits with the spatial and transdisciplinary dyslexic profile - he says his main influences in dance are architects like Santiago Calatrava, Le Corbusier, and Leonardo da Vinci who is an architect science geometrician. I never use traditional set designers- they don't understand my language. I always use architects, engineers, or sculptors to design my structures... Heim also adds that his concepts for structures originate from playing with blocks... Interview: http:www.independent.comnews2008may08jacques-heim-brings-l-based-diavolo-santa-barbara
