Can you work with a partner / tutor / parent revising your work? Sometimes if someone else reads back your work, it's easier to figure out how you want to elaborate, change the wording, etc.

In many colleges, the disability office arranges study partners (they get work study money) that can help with this.

I know your struggl'es, Have been there -keep going.
Now there is more info. and supt. then then was, perhaps when I was 12 or 13, 13 or so years ago!! But, there can still be more, however.
