Best Colleges for Dyslexia

What are the best colleges for  dyslexia?

The answer to this question depends on student interests, faculty:student

ratio, support services for learning disabilities / differences,
flexibility in curriculum, and the severity of dyslexia-related
challenges.

Some students may only require writing support from their university's writing center, where as others will require more
supports, meeting regularly with a tutor or counselor, reduced
courseload, and a full range of assistive technologies. Some students also choose a 2 year college transitional program instead of enrolling in a conventional curriculum but seeking outside support from on campus disability resources.

unique needs of students with LD, LD and Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or psychiatric
disabilities. The program is built around the concept of Universal
Design for Instruction (UDI) which means we proactively seek to
build learning opportunities and support environments that
anticipate the needs of students with learning disabilities.
Students receive individualized support in an inclusive campus
setting.

The program focuses on skills and learning experiences relevant for transitioning from high school to college during the freshman
and sophomore years, and skills and competencies that prepare
students for work and/or higher education during the junior and
senior years.

Students meet with a trained strategy instructor (learning specialist) on a weekly basis to develop and participate in a

approved accommodations, their program of study, and goals for a
positive college experience."
